This Yoga for Strength, Yoga for Athletes class will aim to work on flexibility, range of motion, functional strength and recovery. All to aid you in injury prevention, reduce stiffness in the body, increase your strength, mobility and subsequently muscular performance.
Often sports injuries are directly linked to lack of flexibility, poor core strength and misalignment. Yoga helps alleviate and release muscular tightness and builds a stronger, more functional core.
Yoga is also great for active recovery or on a typical 'light exercise day' as dynamic yoga can help the body repair muscle fibres. This is due to the integration of stretching and relaxing the muscles, which increases blood flow to the broken down muscle tissue.

The class is 1 hour and 15 minutes and at an Introductory rate of £9 for non-spiceball members.
